Devil’s Hour

The night is silent
Except the clock
That goes tick-tick-tock
A rhythm for all

My little doll, don’t you cry
The invitation sent, you’re forced to attend
So sit up straight, start to pretend
That everything’s okay, good, fine

Stop trying, it’s useless,
The world we live in, life’s a game
So make your pick, money or fame?
Roll the dice and decide your fate

I’m coming, you know I am
I am near when you feel my wrath
So hold your hope and decide your path
But remember, nothing will be alive

The clock is ticking, don’t you hear?
Run now little doll, your time is out
It’s no use whether you scream or shout
The doors will close, with you caged in

Demons have their fire to tend, Angels’ their to sing
Look at what you’ve done, come through the door
The glass broken, she’s dead on the floor
So look at me and answer me this

Is life really worth fighting for?
