I DON’T CARE

I’m looking at myself don’t know
I don’t care
I’m not here
The out of body state of mind
The stabbing pain of reality
Fantasy is an idea
Based off failure and spite
Live your dreams
And use your pain
For all to see
Don’t cover up
Or mask the pain
Do your best
And be yourself
Your true self
Not the perfect daughter
Not the cool, popular girl
Not the smart athlete
But the broken down
The mentality of hopelessness
Searching for peace of mind
But the finish line is…
Far away unable to be seen
You sit down
You cave in on yourself
The mental scars are to much for you to handle
The mind is scattered
Just to find a true hatred of yourself
I stand in front of someone
I don’t know them, but I understand them
They are hurt and sad
Lonely, but not alone
Scared and hated
But the fear is unknown
I take a step back to examine from a far
Just to realize
I’m looking at myself.
