Dear younger me,
Hey it’s Older you
Just wanted to check in
I know you haven’t been doing well
Especially with the move and your grades
I mean they have seen better days
But trust me you’ll pull through
Even though it seems like mom is trying to start war with you
She’s just trying to do what’s best for you
Also that guy you like don’t waste your time
He’ll never be mine
I mean yours
So stop pouting and slamming your doors
And try to avoid the ketchup at the dance
Or don’t go at all ‘cause that dress won’t give you a second chance
Anyways I’ll write to you again one day
But start doing your homework because you’ll never be able to flyaway
Sincerely Older You
Month: December 2019
Birdsong haiku
I hear it so sweet
it fills me up complete
fills me full of joy
wind and light
Wind whipping with love.
Light leaning long and lovlie.
I will love nature.
Winter haiku
White snow fills the eye
animals hibernating
bare trees in the snow
Relative
you say an ant looks small
but that’s relative to you
the amount of matter in the universe
never tries to change
but it transforms each day
right in front of your face
the air you breath
has seen it all before
in all the instances of beauty
and all those of disdain
could have once been a raging asteroid
made of atoms long forgotten
but passed along
to create the heart you hold
so when you feel alone
just know that what you’re made of
has been through it all
but you don’t realize
even though you’re made of small parts
just like the ant you look down on
it’s not relative to you
Fall haiku
Leaves litter the ground
falling gently from the trees
so close to winter
Life in the Clouds
Life in the Clouds
When you are little
Just born anew,
You try to lift your wings.
But when in doubt of a misstep,
You cry,
But start again.
You stay under
Your mother’s safe wing,
Until your learn
To stay afloat.
When you finally
Lift your wings
And fly
You are off on your greatest
ADVENTURE!
You’re up in the air
Winds carrying you high,
Nothing can get in your way.
Soon in your flight,
You bump a storm
That keeps you from the clouds.
But soon enough,
You wait and see,
Your wings are dry once more.
You’ll lift your wings,
Into the sun.
And you’re off!
To fulfill your destiny.

controlling everything.
Watching in amusement.
Or…

Christmas Pikachu
Pikachu loves Christmas
When he was Pikachu he loved Christmas and,
he turned into a Christmas Pokemon.
He loved cookies and the jingle bells
and the bells went, ding dong.
Shadows haiku
Black shadows. Cold. Near.
Tailing me with dark despair.
It slays happiness.
