Over the Edge

When I look over the edge…. I think
about loss and regret
When I look over the edge…I wonder
what’s down the road for me
When I look over the edge…I see
darkness and rocks
When I look over the edge…I think
what’s down there
So I stand there for a while…

I take a breath, then jump.
