green

This poem will be about colours
So be quiet unless your my mother
Everybody has a favorite one
Makes you fell like your in the sun
I really like the colour green
Especially on halloween
It also makes you feel like your in the summer
But if you are colorblind than thats a bummer
The colour green makes you feel so alive
Makes me want to go to a pool and try to dive
I would love to swim with the green
Its by far the best thing ive seen
Makes you feel in nature
Nothing like that flavour
And swinging threw a forrest
The best thing for a florist
You can swing threw like a monkey
You would feel so lucky
And thats my poem on green
Hope you leaned something

Rainy Days

Title: Rainy Days

As I listen to the rain outside, I feel calm
So I sit back and relax
Every drop of rain that falls is so soothing just listening to it.
As I start to walk some more, I notice that there are quite a lot of bugs out. I guess they like it when it rains
But the problem with rain is that you get wet, and I don’t like to get rained on.
When I walk farther and farther, I feel the ground getting mushier.
But I won’t stop walking. I keep going and going and going.
‘Till my yard ends, then I jump the fence into my creek and see that there’s more water and tadpoles.
I get on to the rope that’s hanging from my trees and swing.

LIFE IS A WALK IN THE PARK

“Life is a walk in the park”
Life can be hard
Life can be scary

But we both know that its get better(maybe)
We’ve all been pushed away
We’ve all been locked out
But we know it gets better
Life gets better

Life is a walk in the park for some
But for others
Its like walking on a tightrope
No net below
If you make one wrong move
Youll fall
But as you said;

Life is a walk in the park.

Chess is the war of past ages

Chess is the war of past ages.
Kings are at their throne.
Pawns are on the frontline.
Peasants dying first
while Knights jump around looking for a
fight.
Bishops using their magic, up and down the field.
and Rooks, the castle, defending walls of stone
The queen
all power and beauty
While the bloody bodies stack up
And the war still rages on

tiny things

they are the tiny things in life
that give us so much joy

in 2020 especially
you may wake up and dread the day
but the tiny things-

your friend invited you over
to sit in her backyard
and play some truth or dare
and some among us-

the tiny things like that
will give us all the joy
like a single ray of sun
peeking through the sky.
just remembering that
will draw a smile -a real one- across your cheeks

when you wake up
dreading the day
but the tiny things-

you smell
chocolate-chip pancakes
(your favorite)
in the kitchen.

the tiny things like that
will give us all the joy
like a single ray of sun
peeking through the sky.

so don’t dwell on what’s bad

covid, grades, anxiety

but remember the tiny things
those will change
your
life

She

My heart flutters every time I see her pass by
Why do I feel like this?
She’s so perfect
Her eyes are as pure as the bright blue ocean
I want to feel her
Hold her
Look at her
Smell her
She is a rose
A beautiful flower
While I am a wilted lily
Pushing everyone away
Hurting anyone whos near
But maybe if I try
I can be as bright as her

The Cypress Tree

When I feel Adventurous,
I go on a Journey,
Down to the creek and beyond,
Now do not worry,
I’ll be back before dark, (maybe)

One thing in Particular,
That I want to find,
Something Majestic,
If you do not mind

I big Cypress Tree,
In my path,
Which I can’t go around,
Go UP if you can’t go down.

So Up
Up
Up I go,
To the very top.

I was looking for an old car,
But now that I’m here,
I can see SO far.

And I realize this now,
Why take a dirty, old car,
When you can have a VIEW,
And feel the breeze on your face,

Just one small problem now,
How to get back down.
*GULP!*
*CRACK!*
*AARRGGHH!!*

Winter

It’s a white coat ready to be put on!
a person crying on a sad day
An amazing show!
the water in the ocean deep
A day full of fun!
the darkness in a cave
You could have a great time!
or a time of pain
But the Winter is always there.

Home

Home was the baseball field.
Those were the days.
When my throne was atop the batting stats.
And no one could throw me off!

( I’m up to bat. )

Until that fateful day.
No strikes. Three balls.
All far out of the box.
My attention was lost for a minute.

( What’s that? )

Ugh! Right in my side.
I fell , groaned , and sent someone to run.
I put some ice on it.
But that didn’t help.

( This pain should ease soon. )

The kid I sent to run came back
I asked if he scored.
He said “No”
All that for nothing

(Failure)

For the rest of the season.
I couldn’t hit a ball.
Or the season after that.
I lost my throne and fell to the bottom.
( Disappointment. )

I wasn’t batting second I was batting last.
I was a beast in the cages.
But in the box I was a kitten.

(Bye Bye to my stripes. Hello proving grounds. )

But I wouldn’t let that stop me.
I still went to practice and did my best.
I still couldn’t hit.
But I still practice.

( I’ll be back! )

One day I’ll be back Home.
Day by day I get closer.
Back to my throne.

( I’ll see you soon , Home )

a loved one’s loss

She’s gone.
She’s gone and you didn’t even get a chance to say bye.
The realisation slowly floods your body drowning you into a deep ocean of tears.
Cherish the moments you spent with her.
Yes, cherish them.
When she was sitting next to you on that bench.
That bench is now empty.
When she used to help you with your makeup.
Now lies a bare face.
“ why did this happen to ME of all people”
The answer to that lies in a deep abyss of death.
“How do i get her back”
you can’t.
That balloon of love you once had
Ran into a needle
It popped.
