Above the bathroom sink
The tooth brush sits,
all alone
dripping water,
resting his long bristles,
carefully
in a glass container,
jumps
when the person enters
the bathroom;
looks over
at the hand
reaching for it,
sighs,
braces to be grabbed
closes his eyes
as the person clicks
his button,
and there goes
his head,
spinning,
twirling,
around
and around.
