Where I am from
By Savannah Ladd

I am from the big plants in every room the big windows that blind you with light and slobbery dogs that beg for pets I am from the bright white home with black furniture I am from the big snake plants in the front entrance and the 500-year-old oak trees in the backyard whos long limbs shade us from the scorching Texas sun I am from church every Sunday and family dinners nightly from steve and Marisa from the summer vacations where all you can hear is laughter I am from From the smell of burgers and steak fresh off the grill
I am from the weekly Longhorn games from the long drives and flights to see family from long bike rides I am from an amazing family.
