Kindness,
We find it everywhere,
A small act of kindness,
This may lead to another,
Holding the door,
Saying nice things,
Complementing someone,
Are all acts of kindness.

“Whats in my house”
A big blue pool
A fridge full of food
A pantry full of snacks
A art closet full of junk
A movie room that movies never stop playing
And a house full of people
Where im from
I’m from my couch and star wars bed,
I’m from my stuffed dog and legos,
I’m from a cozy place,
I’m from a church,
I’m from ham and cheese sandwiches and blueberries,
I’m from biking on nature trails in the morning,
I’m from constant traveling,
I’m from a backpack that has gone around the world,
I’m from watching spiderman and ironman on the big screen,
I’m from covid and quarantine,
I’m from all of these things that make me me.
Horses
You can hear the hooves clapping,
seeping into the grass strands
that leave a beautiful trail of wonder,
every little ounce goes into each hoove of braveness.
The wind in its mane,
flying ever so gracefully to each stride,
every little strand being blown in the crisp air.
Its powerful body riding under the night sky
with every step dancing with the music
that only the magical creature can hear.
Its fearless eyes
seeking greatness ahead with each head push,
Its ears hear the glisten of every star above.
It is so powerful in every way,
every way it pushes itself,
the ways it will stand up not afraid
Is the reason a horse is so perfectly peaceful.
Night
The sun says goodbye
and the moon says hi
while a big warm
starry blanket
covers the sky
while bugs swarm
in loud noise
and wolves howl
GOOD NIGHT
Pencil
write anything
I wont care
tell me deepest secrets,
school problems
Anything!
I’ll listen anytime
and if you make a mistake
Just erase!
Climate Change
Whenever I walk outside I smell disgustingness
NO people’s mistakes.
I go to the beach, I go skiing, I go biking and I see trash flying all over the world.
There are disgusting smells and they look like clouds of dust.
BUT there is a bright Vibrant yellow circle showing in the Blue and White sky and there are Beautiful sounds of Cawing through the trees
When those things are gone there will be no more sun shining,
there will only be dark puffy stuff.
Dark skies and there will be no cawing, just the sound of engines.
Dark disgustingness coming out of colorful things with wheels.
They are some bad guys.
If that happens I would be sad.
NO that’s not the word, I would be down right devastated
But there is something that people Can Change, like the amount of gasoline they use.
You could bike ride instead of driving in those bad guys that have colorful wheels.
Turning off the water faucet if you are not using it, and taking shorter showers.
So go out there and change the climate
So I can smell the sun!
Where I’m From
I am from Paint brushes and pencils
From Cavender boots and summer dresses
I am from the garden me and my mom planted together
Bright colorful flowers
I am from the blue ocean waves
I’m from Christmas lights and Sunday dinners
From Lesslie and Garrett
I’m from family game nights and movies
From “life is unfair” and “that’s the way the cookie crumbles”
I’m from Austin Texas and Ireland
From homemade bread, hot from the oven with melted butter
I’m from stories of my grandfather picking up trash to earn .25 cents to go swimming in the quarry
From the painting and beautiful art, my grandmother taught me to do
I’m from the fireplace mantle filled with pictures of people I love in special memories
My Beautiful Sky
When I look in the Sky
I close my eyes and I imagine a beautiful
butterfly that is holding
my hand and flying
me to the top of the heart
shaped clouds.
When I look in Sky
I see bright streaks of lightning
that are unknown but wanted.
when I look in the sky
the rain drops on my eyes and
I smell the fresh petrichor
dancing on the grass.
When I look in the sky
I see a deep dark blue sky
scattered with bright stars.
When I look in the sky
the rainbow says Hi to me
and I wanted to go on the top
and slide down to the ground
and spread the colors everywhere.
I am From
I am from welcoming doors that open up to the warmth
From the fluffy rice at the dinner table and the magical playland
I am from my kingdom of everything the light touches inside the four walls
And all the tall windows with a view of the sky
I am from the giant oak tree resting in the corner,
Whose arms gave me shelter during the sweltering heat of the summer days
I am from the beaches of the Mediterranean
From Gokdere of Sky and river and Kozak of steppes
And from happiness and thundering laughter
I am from never feeling the cold on my skin in the clear waters
From Boreks and dolmas
I am from the moments that made me who I am
And the moments that will live forever in my fondest memories….
