Pink Is Me

Pink Is Me
Pink is my soul
It’s the sunset
And everything dear.

Pink is the healing power
Of family & friends.
Pink is school
And the glow of sunrise.
Pink is books and fairies.

Pink is me
Pink is my soul
Pink wriggles inside my heart
When someone is kind.
Pink is as warm as the fireplace
And as free as the sky.
Pink is like a wonderland
Where anything can happen.
It’s the smooth wind rushing over my shoulder too!

Pink is me
Pink is my soul
Pink is homework & horses & flowers too!

To my ornament

You’re round as a ball,
You’re available at the mall.
You’re on our Christmas trees
We sit down on our knees
To hang you we will do
A lot of stuff.
First, we’ll clear out the fluff.
It’s a race to hang you first
But don’t worry you won’t burst!

El gato y la luna

Un día el gato salió.
Miró al cielo y miró a la luna.
El gato pensó que era un plato de leche.
Dijo-Plato de leche. No te vayas.-

The Holidays

The holidays we celebrate are all fun,
Like Christmas, Halloween and Thanksgiving, oh it’s so much fun!
All of these holidays are so important to us!
Easter, New Years, Saint Patrick’s Day and April fools!
My favorite holiday of all is the best! Christmas!
I love all of the food we get to eat each holiday, brush your teeth!
Cookies, pizza, ice cream, donuts, oh it’s so good!
Happy Holidays,
If it’s a holiday, oh it’s so great!
The End

Black

Black is the night, silky smooth.
Black is a heart turned to stone.
Black is a purple Martin sitting in the shade.
Black is the smell of ash.
Black is silence before the storm.
Watching…
Waiting…
BOOM! CRACK!
A thundercloud black.
I stand in awe of this color.
Black.

Austin Halloween

Halloween-I see people in costumes having so much fun! I hear people giggling and laughing, ghosts “Oooooing” at people, people yelling “Ahhhh!” everywhere. I taste the sweet candy on my lips. I smell the apple scented candles and my neighbor’s chimney smoke. I feel the cold breeze on my arms. I feel excited to go to the next house!

Glitter

Glitter, glitter everywhere.

Glitter, glitter in your hair.

Glitter, glitter on your face.

Glitter, glitter all over the place.

How did you get here, you glittery mess?

Why must you follow me?

You are a disgrace to humanity.

I do not like glitter at all you see.

I once loved you, but now I do not.

All this thought of glitter is making me bitter.

I have glitter on shirts and art works.

It is so shinny, so why am I being so whinny.

Maybe I really like glitter,

YES! YES! I DO!

Ok you glittery mess, I really like you.

You shine like the sun.

You shinny gorgeous baby.
