The Baseball Game

Fun, Hard
Timing
You need good timing
Green, brown, dirt, metal, blue, red, yellow
The bat, hard hitting
Double, single, triple, out, home run!
Players, red and blue
I feel concentrated, sad and mad
Happy, slappy, fun, stupid

Hurts a lot
Catch the ball or get hit in the chest
Painful to the feelings

Fun swinging
Can pull a muscle
Lots of pressure
Very clean

Wait in the outfield
You have to have lots of patience
My mind is in outer space
Basketball or flag football for me!

My Grandpa

You’re as brave as a soldier!
You’re prettier than a flower!
You have love as strong as a bull!
When you walk in a room you brighten it up!
You will always be my grandpa no matter what!
Whenever we want something, you always get it.
It it’s our turn to put you first!
Everyone who loves you is holding your hand!

Home

Home is the place for our eating
for our sleeping
for our work
and our resting.
We are thankful to have a home,
and people that love us.
We will help others
less fortunate than ourselves.
We will willingly help
with anything needing to be done.
For we know,
that we are lucky.
We will not yell,
nor fight.
We are community.
We give thanks,
and show gratitude
to others around us,
and we are happier.

Walking in the Night.

we’re going camping! as you can see! Grab a flash light for you and me. Let’s wait for the moon, hey, look here it is! turn on the light, shine it in every nook. hey, there’s a raccoon eating garbage by the light of the moon. chee, chee! the bats are playing happily. I’m guessing that they are eating bugs. We return to the tent, mom is sipping coffee out of a mug. Then she said “what did you see?” I said,”What nature has in store for me!”

Splash! Splash!

Splash! Splash!
The ocean is having a smash!
Sea shells all along the ground
Washed up with a great big sound.
In the coral reef so many colors to see!
Come on down to the sea.
See for one and see for all
Its so much better than shopping at the mall!

Poetry is Beautiful

Poetry, it’s beautiful!
It’s loving but can be danger full
From snake hisses to boy and girl kisses
It always turns out fine.
Get someone to share it with, because not only is it mine
Its for you and we can make some too
If everybody would work together,
We could make the world better, all through poetry.

The Devil’s Candy

I’ve got these grandparents
And they’ve got a farm
And that farm has got some pigs
Sure, I’ve gotten in the habit
Of never getting meat
But the devil on my shoulder, he got a thought
That if literally everyone around me always got to eat meat
Then maybe I’ll get the urge
And possibly get that idea
That bacon isn’t really baby pigs on a chopping block who have every right we do to live!

The Switching Emotions Baby!

A baby named Alex was happy until he was hungry. Alex was mad he always switches emotion. Like he gets sad and mad. When Alex was happy he would smile and laugh until he got hungry.

He switches emotions when he is hungry. When Alex is mad he throws a tantrum. He was like a herd of elephants making a lot of noises. Then he switched to another emotion that was sad. He would give people puppy eyes.

The Thickest Test

Today is the thickest day
it is so thick, like a thick book
it’s like my life is thick.
My pencil is thick, my eraser is thick, thick, thick,
everything is thick, but my book is the thickest of
all it is thicker than anything you can compare it to.

Second by second it is getting thicker and thicker,
but wait it stopped,
except one last thing, the test.
