animals hibernating
bare trees in the snow

Leaves litter the ground
falling gently from the trees
so close to winter

Black shadows. Cold. Near.
Tailing me with dark despair.
It slays happiness.

Someday,
I will be Valedictorian,
I will be the smartest person in high school.

Someday,
I will be an ophthalmologist,
I will perform surgeries in the eye.

Someday,
I will be a new Albert Einstein,
I will create new theories.

Someday,
I will be a soccer player,
I will score a goal for the USA national team.

Someday,
I will find a repeat or end in Pi.
I know experts have searched a trillion digits with no end in sight.
Don’t give up.
Be hungry for more !

I haven’t been everywhere in the world
There’s so many places to see
Forests and towns
Oceans and deserts
Everywhere
Beautiful
The Earth is a magical place

Look within and what
do you see? I see
you as true as can be.
Beautiful? Yes! With a
shimmer in your eyes
you light up with pride.
So just remember that
you are YOU and no one
can change that. Dig
deep and look within…

Summer summer heat .
Hot hot feet.
Ow! To hot!!
Today is a bad bad day.
The super duper summer bummer day.

Fall, fall, the child falls.
The leafs do the same.
Squirrels are nutty.
The squirrel jumps, he too falls.
It is the season for falling.

There’s a B and a D in bed
And the E represents a man
Hopefully he’s not dead
Though he probably has a tan
If you need to sleep
(which you can do by counting sheep)
Just go to a bed
And don’t tell me you’re dead!
Then you sleep
Without making a peep
