Dream

A Dream, a vision of my future,
A wish, a hope,
Clearest when my eyes are closed
and dark and blurry later.
A thought, A peaceful death
A thousand spotlights, No audience.
A thousand heads, No bodies.
Taking turns pushing ourselves away,
Reality fades.
A dream, a vision of my future,
The night but still the day,
The northern lights are rainbows now,
Notice how painted we look,
In a pool 15 feet deep
Too dangerous to jump in.
My enemies push me under,
But still I can breathe.
A dream, A vision of my future
I am excepted to a place if you are excepted.
We are dying
Building a horrible thing,
How do I explain it?
Nobody understands.
Too advanced, too strange,
Nobody understands.
Is this the end?
Nobody understands.
Why does it end like this?
Nobody understands.

What Love Means To Me

What love means to me,
is what love is meant to be.

Oxytocin’s what you get from hugs,
that comfort you when there are bugs,
and you’re afraid so you get lots of attention.

“It wasn’t on purpose, you won’t get in detention.”
If someone accidentally kicked me that’s what I’d say,
I’d hug them and tell them, “It’s okay.”

Comfort is what you get from a kiss,
that you give to someone who you’ll miss,
when they leave home and you will cry.

“It wasn’t on purpose, I’m not gonna die.”
If someone accidentally hit me that’s what I’d say,
I’d kiss them and tell them, “It’s okay.”

Home

There is nothing like home
Soft couches
Smart computers
Oh home

In the winter days my home is like a blanket
Warming me and tending to me
The holly jolly Christmas time
Grabs me out of my grumpy pants
Along with my sister, mom and dad
Oh the faint chill of the winter

In the summer days my home is nice and cool
Putting a slight tingle of fall in the air
We take out all of our old clothing
Replacing them with fresh new ones
Oh the touch of summer

In the spring my home smells nice and fresh
Sometimes a few vases of flowers around the house
Outside flowers thrive and bloom
We go on long hikes
And pick amazing delicate flowers
Oh the scent of spring

In the fall
Leaves sail to the ground
In all colors
Red, orange, yellow, purple
Outside we rake leaves into piles
Jumping into those plump nice piles
They blanket the ground
We have plenty of leaves stuck in our hair
Oh the colorful autumn

My home is the best wonderland ever
Full of things to do
Play with my sister
Read a book with my mom
HOME is everything

Gone

The sound of the screams,
Like nails on a chalkboard.
The shadows over the ground
Like salt in the wound.
Eyes water with tears
Like a river flowing downwards.
That’s when she said
“Never again shall this happen.”
And with that last word,
Gone

Tree

I sway in the wind,
Pray to the air,
Gleaming in the sun,
Beautiful as a cloud,
I stand.
I watch the stars,
When they glide by,
Watching the moon,
Gazing.
Some say I’m ugly,
Some say pretty,
I say everyone is pretty,
In their own way.
Nature is crying for exploration.
So come enjoy nature,
With me,
The tree.

A World Outside Your Problems

One day I woke up
way
too
early.
I biked to school, even
though it was terribly cold.
Then, it was a long day
at school.I got a grade that
I didn’t like, and couldn’t find my book.
But when I biked home,
it was warm outside,
and a beautiful day.
You know,
the world isn’t so chaotic if you
just get out in it.
