I drive for 4 hours
We pull up in a long stone driveway
I step out of the tall car
My hands full of luggage
I smell the crisp fall air
It always smells the same here
“Larkin, I’ve missed you,” I hear
“I’ve missed you too Sadie,” I say back
“Come inside
Make sure not to let the cat out” she says
Yum
I smell chocolate chip cookies
I run straight to the kitchen
A whole plate of fresh cookies
I take a bite, as the chocolate melts in my mouth
The sweet cookie makes a mess
I run upstairs to my room
What a surprise
She remodeled it again
Full of her beautiful paintings
Made by her old hands
I run to her closet
Full of designer purses and jewelry
I want it to be mine one day
Another stop
The backyard
I run through the garden to the wooden swing
I swing high but careful
I jump off and head to the corner of the big backyard
I run between a small secret place
Between where two stone walls should meet
But they don’t
I go through them
I run towards the huge green pieces of land
The golf course
I run around in circles tons of times
Until I fall on the ground dizzy
I rush back to the house
“Suppers ready,” I hear
And then I know for sure
I’m at my grandmas house
I’m in McKinney

The cardinal struts proudly with dashing scarlet feathers,
Refusing to fly south despite the inevitable weather.
For if anyone could ward off this ancient time of snow,
Why, the cardinal could- or didn’t you know?
Mocking the mockingbirds for their wise retreat,
Desiring to join the passel of fools he saw as elite.
None of his peers found the geese to be as silly as this goose,
Squawking clever insults while he fumbled for an excuse.
The cardinal, with his head hung low, flew south the next spring,
For while some traditions are obsolete, others are worth following.

As sweet as can be
she loves to play by the sea
she love to chase the seagulls
and hang with the beagles

She doesn’t like the car
if she were in it she wouldn’t travel far
bitten by three rattle snakes

this dog is also very clever

Lebron James just had her first kid
Her first name was Lebrina
She was being trained to be a hospital nurse
Because at the time it was World War III
Lebron James became a stay at home mom
She played basketball
Only when had nothing to do
Lebrina grows up
She became a Nurse
She was a nurse in World War III
World War III was started by Donald Trump
It was a Basketball game
Lebron was the starting point guard

They fought for their and our freedom
It’s a debt we can’t repay
Their loyalty for the country
Gives us pride in many different ways
They got us our rights
They stopped people who told us what to do
They worked hard and won the fights
There is nothing they have to prove
Now the flag waves
With red, white, and blue
Respecting all the braves
For the ones who are true.

Half fish,
Half Girl, Scales as shiny as a pearl,

On the beach playing with sand,

Maybe even in an auditorium!
Swimming around,
Touching the deep bottom ground,

“SWISH SPLASH SWISH,’’
Their tails are as orange as pumpkins,
Or as they call it “SUNKINS,”

Thunder and lightning on Halloween night
Oh! It gives me such a fright
The hooting of the owl
I can hear the zombies’ growl
The chilly wind blows
My blood flow slows
The Witches are casting spells
I can hear the graveyard’s bells
I try to go back to sleep
I can hear a meep
I finally go to snooze
Hoping I won’t wake up with a bruise

Green is a hopping frog on the riverbank!

The longhorn state is awesomely great,
The food is SO WELL ,
It is soo hard to tell,
Austin is the best,
