The Choir of our World

The day you are born your voice joins a choir of millions.
In a choir so full will your voice be heard?
As each voice joins the chorus grows stronger
The music an everlasting track.
The songs may repeat but they never grow dull
In the symphony that never ends will your voice be heard?
Or will it fade before ever really starting?
Or will your voice resonate loud and clear?
Will you be the melody or the harmony?
Will your voice be LOUD or quiet?
Will you strengthen the choir or be discordant sound among the rest?
Or maybe, just maybe you will rise up from the others.
Your voice would lead the choir!
Changing what might have been a cacophony to beauty
As long as you are still singing you can change the song
You could change the choir for the better
And make an impact that lasts forever.

Fall

The fog rolled in
the breeze whipped around me
the leaves lashed through the wind
the branches roamed free

Yellow and red living around
orange falling from the trees
scattered all on the ground
everything blown by the breeze

A chill fills my body
I shiver in the cold night air
I think of hot tea
the sight makes me stare

South Korea

Honking cars, people talking, busy streets
And blaring music
As I scroll the car window down a fresh smell comes surfing towards me
The old and short, new and tall buildings tower over me
The sound of advertisers selling things runs over to my ear
I can see the mountains in the background
The beautiful and majestic mountains
that Watch over
Seoul
The animals I think of in the mountains are the
Wild
powerful
Tigers
The bingsu in the restaurants are to DIE for
The soft melting ice mixed with the syrup and the chopped
delicious
Fruit
The galbi frying on the stove sizzles like bacon on a pan
I remember all of these things during the airplane ride going
Back
HOME
I will always have SEOUL in my heart

Life is like climbing a mountain

Life goals is like climbing a mountain you will face obstacles
The mountain will be rough and jagged and you might
Cut your hand
Along the way but keep going keep trying to climb
That mountain

along the way you might have to face
A mountain lion
But don’t be frightened or discouraged

Because when you get to the top
Of the mountain boy is it beautiful

Home Run Derby

1 You see things that you don’t understand.
You know you can’t, but you keep trying.
You are the bear and he is the robin, and you can defeat him.
You get to what you hope is the final challenge, and you know you can’t do it.

5 You are a lone bear in these hundreds of acres of woods.
You swing, not knowing what is to come, how to hit it home
You fight against the beasts of the forest as they pose as obstacles on your journey.
You may not enjoy the challenge they provide, but it will make you stronger in the end.

You try your hardest to win, and once you do, things change whether you like it or not.
10 You continue on the path you chose, carrying the regrets that came with your choices.
You think you’ve fought the strongest, but there are still more to come.
You do your best, but you just can’t make enough runs.

You hear the ball fly past your ear, Fwoosh, it goes as the defeat sinks in.
You see them laugh, but you know you can beat them.
15 You see them look right at you, eyes like daggers.
You may want it to stop, and only you can make that happen.

You finally do it.
You know this is what is has all led up to.
You have done what others dream of.
20 You have finished.

Nature

The way the birds sing
Through the wind and the rain
The way the deer run
Through the big and small
To the short and tall

Through warm and cold
Day and night
There the animals lay
Watching to catch their prey
Coming and going
Listening and watching
Just as humans do
Fighting and killing again and again

My Home

It’s my home, it’s land,
It’s water and it’s sand.
It’s is my life, it’s my pride,
With Muslims side by side.
From naturally flowing fountains,
To high ranging mountains.
Pakistan is a terrorist,
That is what the the world names us.
IT’S NOT TRUE!
You have never been there,
Not breathed in its lovely air.
Try to understand,
It’s a paradise, not a simple piece of land.

Truth

I am gauged by scale,
But weigh nothing.
Who am I?
You avoid me
But once I strike
You cannot let go.
Who am I?
You cannot see me,
But I am everywhere.
Who am I?
I am lighter than a feather
But when you disown me
I way you down.
Who am I?
I don’t have a color,
But I am a dark secret in some.
Who am I?
I am…

Drip, Drip, Drip

Drip , Drip, Drip
Death
One last breath
Light
So so bright
Heart
Its one whole part
Drop
You stop
Still
All it takes is one pill
Blood
It starts a flood
Drowning
You hear pounding
A tear
Right here
Steal
It takes so long to heal
Sad
You through away all that we had
You use to be so bright
Like a sunflower in the light
But know your cold hearted
And we have parted
