I see him
he tries to juke me

Flight is a wonderous thing
Known to a human being

Sometimes when i sing or i dance
she comes
she sits next to me and we sing together
she fills me up with warmth as reassuring as the sun in a blizzard
she takes my own song
my song that tells a whole life story
and she fixes it
even if it’s for a few minutes
then she has to go
when the song comes to an end
After what feels like one second
she leaves
just like that
and drifts away
until i sing again
but she is gone

forever.
