Math

Math

Math is the equation to life
It gets you places that you couldn’t go at first
It may be a challenging thing
And also very LLLLLLOOOOOONNNNNNGGGG
But it will pay off in the endgame
Math is a 1 million piece puzzle
There are so many pieces
Finding the edges is like learning the basic math equations
When you get onto finding circumference and Trigonometry
It is the equivalent to find the inside of the puzzle

You may finish or not finish the puzzle
But math is still the greatest equation to life

My Favorite Season

Its finally that time of the year for the best season fall.
Where I get to see all those colorful pretty leaves.
Just as fun as feeling that nice cold breeze.

After all these hot months i really did miss a cool breeze.
Now while I’m running around happy knowing it’s fall.
I can finally hop into all those piles of leaves.

I really will miss my favorite season when it leaves.
Running up and down the street feeling that breeze.
I just hope that soon I don’t trip and fall.

For now I’m happy it’s fall, I can jump through the leaves
while feeling that nice cold breeze.

What A Hit

Your Coach screaming across the field “run”
while your in outfield tracing down the hit
when you have to sprint up field to make the catch

Then your teammate makes the catch,
All hard work wasted, but now you have to run
down field to the dugout, now I’m up,swing, and it’s a hit

The ball traveling fast while your parents say “what a hit”
Right to the center fielder, past his head, “he missed the catch”
“he missed the catch” echoes in my head, my heart my chest as I run

“He missed the catch” still echoes through my head while I run past 3rd base, he throws, I slide, and I get hit in the back, worth the win.

The Oak Tree

Long and strong are your branches
Each one its own home
For a new kind of wildlife

Birds tend their nests among other wildlife
Tucked away in your broad branches
A home within a home

Every animal has their own personal home
But the widespread wildlife
Prefers your extensive reaching branches

Whoosh! The winter winds will soon chill the wildlife rushing to return to the warm embrace of a home that is your branches

Fall

Leaves were falling
Birds are calling

Kids overby the river
With a huge shiver

The breeze as strong as a tornado
WIth a large blow

Friends playing in the leaves
Wearing long sleeves

Tree branches hitting the window
I didn’t know it was mine though

Hello Fall, goodbye summer!
Starting school is a bummer

The wind sounded like a SWOOSH
And slightly gave me a push

The substitute

There it was
In the dark corner.
No teacher in sight
31 kids going nuts
In that corner
A red beam
And back to nothing
The beam was gone
Heavy breathing
Then a cape
Next two feet
A helmet matte black
The marker mysteriously moving
After it was done
The board said
Your substitute teacher is
none other than
DARTH VADER

The Seasons

The year starts off,
In an
Icy,
Cold,
Fridge.
Freezing,
Like a
Cold,
Wet,
Cave, isolated from everyone else.

The fridge door opens,
Cold air rushing out,
escaping from the cold prison.
Warm air crawling in,
exploring the new space,
seeking for more.

Slowly, creeping in
little
By
little.
Until the fridge warms up.
The sun shining so bright.
Welcoming more.

One day,
The fridge is
MELTING
From
Heat,
Until the sun,
Escapes the sky,
And hides behind the clouds.
A cold breeze
Chases the wind,
And
SLAMS
The fridge door
Shut!

Coldness enters once again,
Until the fridge returns to its icy state,
And the year is over.

Why Cows?

Why Cows?

Why am I thinking
About cows?
They don’t have
Anything cool in
Them,Do they?

All they do is help us eat.
Why do we make them in to food.
Mmm… one extra cheesy burger please.
More like one extra cheesy cow please

Who came up with the idea of cooking cows?
When you think about it, it goes like this,
“Hmm I just had a great idea, lets butcher our
Cow, cook it, and then eat it”
Cows are basically dogs, would you eat a dog?
(Hotdogs don’t count)

Not like I’m hating on burgers or anything,
In fact burgers are amazing,
But still why am I
Thinking
About
Cows?

The Forest In My Head

The Forest In My Head

a forest grew that night

my walls now trees

waving hello, having just been g r o w n

fifty years in five seconds

and as i sit on this bed of leaves

Imagining.

the wind curls around me

blowing the moss that

hangs from the curtain racks

the rug is grass

fresh and soft

covered in dew

a jump forward

Brings me to the tALLEST tree

watching my shadows

come to life

and as they frolic

around my forest

A Chirp.

Opens my eyes

to see a bird,

just outside the window,

fly away,

taking my forest with it.

Beyblading

I feel the rush of competition
the power of speed
I am the king of the spin

all the fighters spin
in this raging competition,
in the last moments of speed

BANG! BANG! No more speed
BANG! BANG! No more spin
the endlessly hot coals of competition

The final moments of spin and speed, the hot coals of competition burning hotter than ever
