early wake

Hanging from a peach tree
a bat wakes up, stretching out his small pink tongue
yawning,
opening his eyes
watching the dusk sun
slowly slide
beneath the clouds, to be dreamt
for another night
Stretching out his giant wings
while others slowly crawl out of their dreamy stupor.

A Cloud to snow to raindrop

A cloud comes from over the mountain range, it has come from days of traveling and has finally come to its destination
It starts to cry happy tears of snow as it slowly disappears into the air ,the snowflakes slowly come down like Fall leaves, left right left right again and again until they reach the ground.
They stay for many hours but then one snowflake hears the screams of their friends and family. It starts to melt, it fears for its life, it starts to sweat, but suddenly it starts to rise from the ground meeting with its family, once more forming a cloud that will make the same journey as the first one. Luckily the snowflake survived and the cycle begins once again.

Life

Life is a gift
It gives
And it takes
The trees above
To the ground below
It is all a part of this world
We should be greatful
The animals
The plants
They come from the one who made Earth
To be Thankful
To help
Keep this life clean
Safe and Green
Is a way we can live Life.

Unlit

Life is no longer whole,
Like plans without a goal,
Or a map with a hole.

Without you, life has lost its reason,
As if your disappearance is a treason.

The fire in my heart,
My passion to depart,
Are both killed and torn apart.

Maybe I should just forget it?
Let the pain conquer my spirit,
Submit.

All was fine for a bit,
But like a bullet, the time hit,
Your fire, blazing as bright as the starry night sit,
Unlit.

Words

Words
Words
Words
In through your head
Right to your heart
Ugly
Ugly
Ugly
That girl called you ugly?
Now you are wearing 40 pounds of makeup.
HA!
HA!
HA!
Those kids laughed at your shoes?
Now they are at the bottom of the trashcan.
WHA!
WHA!
WHA!
They said you’re a crybaby?
Now you’re afraid to cry in front of anyone.
How did this start again?
Words.
Words hurt
And it’s your choice on how you use them

Under the bed

In Chelsea’s room
Under the bed sits
Nothing there but dust bunnies
And forgotten things
Forgotten,like under the bed
He lets the loneliness consume him completely
All completely,alone
He looks around the room,to see if he’ll ever be more
than just
under
the bed
The old shoes,his only friends
Empty,so completely alone
Hopes, and wonders if Chelsea will ever come home
He remember when she would hide under the bed
From her parents and their fights
And the language that is as colorful as a rainbow
He hasn’t heard those fights in a long time
He hasn’t heard anything in a long time
He wonders
Will he ever be anything more than just under the bed?
