Choices

I didn’t choose This.
stop saying I did.

Do you Think,
I would Choose,
to be Hated by half my family?

the Same family who told me,
they would Love me,
No Matter what?

Do you Think,
I would Choose,
to have to make an Escape Plan,
if Anything goes Wrong?

Do you Think,
I would Choose,
to be called horrible Slurs,
By those who said they Loved me?

Do you Think,
I would Choose,
to suffer Silently,
With mental Illness?

Do you Think,
I would Choose,
to Realize,
That One sentence,
could set off a Chain of Events,
That in the End,
could get me Killed?

these Were not My choices.

but These were the Cards I was Handed,
And These are the Cards I must Play.

Galaxy

My life is the galaxy,
Filled with stars,
Big hot and bright,
Easy to see from far away.
But when when my galaxy gets filled with more stars,
My old stars faint hardly visible hard to remember,
Almost like they are not there.
When I get closer towards the stars,
The stars gets even bigger and bigger,
Visible easy to see in the the dark galaxy.
I notice the stars and think about them,
Remembering these are one of the first stars in my galaxy.
I try to keep hold of the stars,
Hold on to them forever,
Never going to forget them,
Like they are stuck on me like glue.
The Planets in my Galaxy surround me,
Right next to me through my cycles of daylight.
And through my obstacles (global warming) you orbit right next to me,
Making me feel good through these obstacles,
Filling my balloon with air.

no to

Family is to have each other
Family is to support each other
Not to hurt.

Friends are to be social
Friends are for fun
Not to be taken advantage of.

Life is to live
Life is to go out and have fun
Not to be thrown away.

No one nor nothing deserves to get pushed aside
There is a purpose
In
Everything.

Fall

Fall

Fallen is what I have done
Among me is nothing(just a pit as black as the road in which we run)
Lost is what I am lost in trickery
Lost in this pit of misery
I feel no hope in this abyss
Never have I felt such loneliness
Gray and black and gray and black is the darkness that blend into one

I continue to fall so deep into this pit
Not knowing when I’ll hit the ground and suddenly lose to it

Loss of torment gain of hope
Over and over I walk this tightrope
Vacillating between my pain and what I’m fond of
Evermore I’ll fall in love.

What Would You Like to Order

Ring!
The bell next to the cash box sounds
As I walk up to the cashier

“Hello, what would you like to like?
What kind of tortilla do you want?
Sour cream, lettuce, tomato, cheese?
Your choice, you control all the events-
I mean toppings that make you life-
I mean taco.
So fun or boring to live-
I mean eat.”

“Are you okay?”
I ask.

“Yes.
I’m fine.
Just want to help you pick what goes in your life-
I mean taco.”

I Agree

There is nothing of you
until someone; you don’t know who
makes you bloom
the warm sky shines on your bare bark
planted under he silver moon
covering and protecting the city park

but then

the tropic air becomes brisk, like a high up cliff, you don’t want to risk
you leaf-like happiness falling to the ground
the ground was painted in red, orange, and bright yellow
and your forlorn bark was colored dark grey all round

until

the sun in your eyes brightens the day
for ones who are near you, and those who are far away
your leaves shimmering green
the trunk of you, bigger than the eyes have seen
tree and leaf, like hand and hand
they all believe in me
and I can happily say, “I agree.”

Summers Air

The air is moist and somewhat hollow- metaphor
and my mouth is dry from the scorching heat- metaphor
as a drop of sweat tumbled down my face

I looked at the wild berries wondering if they would swell my face
I take a deep breath sucking in the earth’s hollow
the air is quiet and sounds lonely in the heat

as my body sucks in the earth’s heat
and while my sweat absorbs into my face
the trees are silent in the distance of the hollow.

You’ll see it in my face, this heat is dangerous lurking around in the hollow.
The only thing I capitalized is I and T. I did that because that is my rule of a poet.

Christmas

Because I could not present for Christmas,
it did kindly present for me.
Pause to present, like Christmas does.

Why would you think the heavenly home is uncomfortable?
The heavenly home is the most comfortable housing of all.
Hospitable, humble, heavenly home.
Are you upset by how well-fixed it is?
Does it tear you apart to see the heavenly home so snug?

One afternoon I said to myself,
“Why aren’t glad greetings more hostile?”
Are you upset by how intimate they are?
Does it tear you apart to see the glad greetings so favorable?

A contemporary claus, however hard it tries,
Will always be cunning.
Are you upset by how attractive it is?
Does it tear you apart to see the contemporary claus so ingenious?

Zany, famous festivals sings like a greek culture
Now goofy is just the thing,
To get me wondering if famous festivals are wacky.

How happy are Joyful, commemorative celebrations!
Now overjoyed is just the thing,
To get me wondering if commemorative celebrations are happy.

I cannot help but stop and look at chilly, ancient season.
Down, down, down into the darkness of the ancient season,
Gently they go – the chill, the unfriendly, the unemotional.

Because I could not present for Christmas,
it did kindly present for me.
Pause to present, like Christmas does.
