Steampunk Embodiment

My clockwork metal gears,
Swivel and spin swarming together a chorus line,
Blundering beneath man-made copper skin.

My conscious perception,
In my flawlessly gilded head,
Like widespread nuclear warheads,
Bound together by silver threads.

My bearings cease mid-rotation,
In my robust bulletproof body,
Standing among innumerable automated peers,
pondering that maybe one mellow day I will embody,
What it feels like to be human,
to be once again known as the infamous Frankenstein.

My Steampunk days have finally ruptured,
In explosions of molten golden cogs,
But I am left to stand,
Amidst the air of copper brass,
All alone, just as planned,
To vanquish the rest of my inept clockwork creations.

the bells on the mantle

the bells
will ring
their
everlasting
song, they will sing with joy
as they know they will be heard
and enjoyed. the bells will shake back
and forth, quaking with there powerful hits.
DING-DONG, the powerful strike is heard
again, on the mantle, over the fireplace. it
is time. the bells signal the day we’ve all
waited for, christmas is finally here. the bells
watch over the other decorations. resting at the
highest point, soaking in the view. they are like an
empty tower, looking over a town. at last, they watch
the red suited man climb down the chimney, drinking his
milk and cookies and delivery the happiness. the bells will
watch as the man struggles to keep quiet, trying not to wake
up the children. the stocking slowly getting waited by all the weight
of all the condy and small gifts. the bells our sad when the man leaves
but
they know he
will come
back

Gone

It feels like you were just here
But now you’re gone
Losing you was my worst fear

You were just here but now you’re just ashes
I can’t believe you’re gone
My tears are still stained to my eyelashes

I told you it was ok to leave
How can you be gone?
I never thought about how much I would grieve

In your last days you couldn’t speak to me
I wish you weren’t gone
Not being able to hear your voice one last time will always sting

I hope you heard me on the phone telling you it’s ok to let go
It still hurts that you’re gone
I just wish there was a way that you could let me know

From time to time I will still cry
It’s ok that you’re gone
I’m just glad you’re not in pain anymore even if it meant you had to die

Sometimes I will still feel a bit blue
You will never be completely gone
Even after crying I will still smile because…
I have the memory of you

Heart Break

Heart Break makes your insides suffer.
Broken pieces of you until the very last piece
Heart Break never ends.
It takes youto a places whereone feels a deep stab
Heart Break brings out darkness to all.
Pain will be received by a look or feel
Heart Break brings out the worst creature in you.

Rain

Rain
Cold, Wet, Tears
Falling from the heavens above
A place we do not know

A place the living dare not go
A place where the rain subsides
As the warm sun glows

It fills our oceans
Its fills out eyes
It fills our minds
It soaks our clothes
It soaks out air
It soaks our hearts

Rain
Cold, Wet, Tears
Falling from the heavens above
A place we do not know

Blue

Blue is like the shining sky.
Blue is like the ocean, deep and blue.
Blue is the paint job rubbing off a car.
Blue smells like blueberries.
Blue takes like blue raspberry jolly ranchers.
Blue sounds like the ocean waves crashing on shore.
Blue looks like a strip in the rainbow.
Blue feels like soft blue raspberry cotton candy.
Blue makes me cool and happy.
Blue is the state flower, Bluebonnet.

Friendship Tree

I can tell you Friendships are stable
but I can also say hurricanes can happen
they can get uprooted
and destroyed
and they can never be a part of you again
but you can plant a new Tree
make room
for a new life
make room
for a new Friendship

leaves can dive down
and branches can break
but you will always have the trunk and the roots
anchoring you together
so you can stand tall
like the Trees in redwood national state park
standing for thousands of years

so listen to me
Trees can fall or stand for many years
but always make room
for a new tree
a new Friendship.
