Ode to Swimming

Oh swimming,
For you I’m trimming
Down my free time
Because you require the dedication of a lifetime.

A friend’s party may await,
But for you I will be late.

I kick and pull,
And swallow many a mouthful
Of your crystal blue flowing wool.

If I pause for just one day,
You chase me ‘cause
Without you, I’m astray

You take much dedication
To travel across the nation
And compete
To attempt an amazing feat.

So thank you, swimming,
You are my light
Without you, I’m missing
A part of me and it doesn’t feel right.

Fate

In Life, there are good days

And there are bad, there are happy moments,

And there are sad, no matter how hard you try

You get both

Each one intertwined with the other,

If you get one

it is followed by another

We can’t pick and choose the emotions we feel

Or The order in which we feel them

We can only choose to push past the situations

That make us feel the opposite in which we’d like

You see life is a never ending series of events

In which we can’t and never will be able to

Control

Life, is millions of moments put together to create

One common goal

That goal,

is YOU

Why?

There they were

Ten blindfolded men standing still silently. Not knowing what will happen,

Pure quietness until…

BANG!

They all fell down with blood gushing

From there faces.

People in the background crying “NOO

DADDY, MOMMY”

The bullets shot like lightning

Destroying anything in its way as if it were paper. Why? The little girl cried, why?

Penny

Penny
My pet, my dog, my friend, my family
The soft, copper-colored fur that I love to stroke
Those big, beautiful eyes that melt like honey, waiting to greet me when I get home

A playful puppy
A loving puppy
An intelligent puppy
My puppy

She is a ray of sunshine, always so bright and happy
The one thing in the whole world I can never get mad at
Out of all the dogs in the world, I got Penny
The best dog I could have possibly gotten
How lucky I am to have her
Penny

Notice Me Forgetting You

Notice me forgetting you

Your smile I loved

Your eyes, so blue

Your hair like ice
So blonde
It’s white

I haven’t seen you
In months
And I’m already forgetting

The details
I need them
I want them
All back

You haven’t noticed
You probably
Don’t care
That I am forgetting
Your style
Your stare

Please notice me
Forgetting you
And please help me
because
I don’t want to

My Horse and I

When I am happy, my horse is sad.

When my horse is happy, I am sad.

When he is mad from me not giving it a pat on the back, it makes me get on.

Then…boom, pow, crash…He bucks me off and before you know my horse has to go because now I am in the hospital.

Now you know when I am sad my horse is mad.

Now that’s a reverse that will nurse me in this hospital.

You can come visit me with friends and family in my disability.

Now here I am all alone eating watermelon.

Now the only thing I want is to not be sunk like my horse.

For my name is Joe, so I have to go.

Because I never had hot cocoa.

So now I am out of the hospital.

Now my horse is here. I hope he doesn’t come near.

Or else this is going to have to start all over.

Well this will not continue… because I am little my whole name is… little pickle

Tickles my hippo H2o my favorite number is zero, but I am more wise than my name.

It’s kind of like my little game that I used to play. It’s not the name game. Wait…I forgot,

it’s hopscotch. No it’s not. It does not use boom, pow, ahhh. It just uses your brain.

You can play, if you may.

Or say well… This is how you play. The judge says something, then there are two players. Each player has to say the best definition. The player who delivers the best definition wins!

Falling Orange

Nervously pacing

sitting Standing sitting again

His leg bouncing

you can hear the orange

tic tacs shake, waiting for

the lunch bell to ring

hands drumming on the green grated lunch table

fidgeting rocks the unbalanced chair

The bell rings

He stands up so quick

he’s unsteady

He reaches in to his pocket

the orange tic tacs shake in his hand

He flicks it open

three fall out

A single tic tac slips from his hand

It falls towards the grated table

crowds surge from the door

The tic tac bounces, a single

orange dot on a green cage

He talks to her

The tic tac balances on the edge

She walks away

He drops in to the unbalanced chair

Bumping the table

The

tic

tac

falls

The Waterfall

Roaring waters, gushing down,

Churning, thrashing, the water pounds.

A pulsing, bubbling white glow

With gushing bright bubbles that quickly flow.

I couldn’t remember it being any hotter

So with a great big SPLASH! I jumped into the foamy

white water,

Which seemed like quite a solution,

But there was just too much pollution!

So shaking my head at the magnificent site

And doing my best to be polite

I left in a sorry plight

For what I though to be pure delight

‘Twas just a sorry sight.
