Old mornings

That morning smell outside after it rained
The baby swing that wanted to be swinged
The breeze flowing through the tree’s leaves
The beautiful gold-like glowing tree
The fall-like tree

Wait For Me There

Wait a second
Wait for me there
You’re now ahead of me
That’s not fair

I need a second to spot the light
Once I see it, we’ll take flight
We’ll get on our pony
Hit the open road
Or should I say
The rainbow road

It might look beautiful
It might look bad
If it’s ugly, I’ll be very sad

Once we cross it, we’ll be together
But just wait a second
Wait for me there

My Life in My Hand, My Hope in My Heart

My Life in My Hand, My Hope in My Heart

Tears dripping onto the paper. The fear of failing in my heart. Nothing but black. Then comes a shimmer of light inside. My heart fighting the darkness that lives inside me. The sadness, the sorrow, the evil within all of these things being bashed away. These things are now replaced with hope and happiness. The light becomes brighter, brighter than the sun. The light swallowed the darkness, drowning it out with the sound of my hope. I repeat the words of a wise man I once knew, “Be brave, be bright, keep your dreams in your sight make your hopes big and bright.” A tear builds up in my eye, not from sadness but from the happy memories that encourage me to excel to be the best I can be.

Where I’m From

Where i’m from
I’m from the sweet smell of
Sunlight trickling over the
Table of 2012.

I’m from the red triangle top house
And a bright rainbow swing.
I’m from the blood of red heads
From apple trees that sway in the wind with no care.

I’m from summer days in the backyard with family friends.
I’m from the great great GG who i thought would turn into a
Big piece of corn.

I’m from late night cuddles and snuggles
on the couch with a toasty blanket that seemed like
heaven.

the cat

the cat looks out the window and sees a bird
he meows at the bird until he is heard
the birds look at him like hes weird
they wonder, why a cat sat on the window and meowed at us
they fly away later on in the day
Never to be seen again

The stars at night.

the stars winked as they watched over us
Shining so bright, they peek out from clouds
, Desperately wanting to show the world their
Sparkle.

They dance around the sky.
So far away as if they were in the heavens.
the sky is a vast endless, and ever-changing canvas of
colors.
Painted on so carefully with love.

As I watch from Below the blanket covered in Stars
Hoping that it never ends.
I walk away
dreadfully waving goodbye.

Whats in the abandoned house

Toys no one will ever use
Cookies long past expiration date
Water as dirty as mud
Glue that has run out
Posters the are outdated
Old things that come apart easily
A very deflated ball
Moldy bread no will dare eat
Broken toys fill the floor
A clock that is unfixable
And a house that no one will live in.

The Open Void

I stare at the open void,
A soul piercing blue,
I dip a toe in,
And then two

Slowly it’s grasp
wraps around my foot,
And pulls me through

Deeper and deeper I fall,
Until I see no sunlight at all
Something whispers in my ear,
Just relax,
There’s nothing to fear

Slowly swirls of color appear,
Orange then pink, and yellow and green,
They circle me searching for something afar,
Until their eyes settle on what looks like a fallen star

The star shines brighter and brighter,
Engulfing my vision with a warm yellow glow
The glow is so bright,
it illuminates the night,
Into a dancing light show

But as fast as it started,
It begins to fade

All of a sudden, against my will,
Up, up, I rise,
With a sudden thrill

As I rise, all the magic begins to fade,
And once I reach the top,
There is nothing below me,
But a big, empty, blue void.
