Trees are important and special too.
Some small, some big, but for me and you.
Trees are like magic growing more everyday,
start from a seed and grow big, hooray!!!
Winter’s Sensations
Winter is like being wrapped up in a cold hug
I love the cold winters breeze
I watch the snow fall as I drink from my mug
It’s so cold outside I get numb to my knees
Winter makes me want to cozy up by the fire
Oh how I love the joy of making gingerbread cookies
It brings me joy when people sing their holiday choir
I always look forward to the yummy goodies
Winter is a magical season
I love how each snowflake is different and unique
You’ve got to love Winter I’ve given you so many reasons
The snow is oh so white and sleek
Winter is fun don’t you agree
Go take a look and you’ll see
Empty
Empty hearts and empty dreams
Empty minds just as it seems
Empty faces soaked in tears
Empty screams ring in my ears
Empty eyes are set in stone
In this empty world, we walk alone
music escape
Music is an escape for me
i escape from Reality and into a Fantasy
where I feel like I have a Purpose
like I’m supposed to be there
i put in my Headphones and just Listen for hours
the Sound and the Rhythm make me melt inside
I Sing to the top of my lungs
and dance imaging I’m the only person in the world
i can’t help but Smile
the song ends but my happiness doesn’t end
I’m happy for a long time knowing that I can Escape whenever I want
Ice Cream Is a Winter Wonderland
Winter is ICE CREAM,
cold gushes of air, gives you a brain freeze.
The SNOW crunches beneath your feet, the CREAMY ICE crunching against your gums.
You look down at what’s in your mitten wrapped hands.
Houses made of gingerbread, topped with sprinkles and a cherry.
But the giant twirling spoon destroyed the houses, making them crumble underneath the CREAMY ICE.
Each step you take, impacts each bite. The houses were destroyed, gone, not even a single piece in sight.
The sun shined brightly, on a new morning day, the SNOW melted inside the cone, leaving CREAMY puddles alone.
But it all changed when you came to a stop. Scoops of more SNOW, gets put in your cone.
Added with more gingerbread houses, and a cherry on top.
The houses have been built, on this new morning day, and off you go with ICE CREAM in your hand,
Walking through a winter wonderland.
Winter In Boston
When I lived in Boston
There was snow and ice
I made an Igloo with my sister
Maybe once or twice
The wind was a breath of fresh air
Everything was perfect
The trees were oh so bare
Wearing all those layers was worth it
The hot tea warmed my hands
I was floating up above
I felt like the queen of all the lands
The dirt below, covered with snow
White like a dove
Winter was quiet
Winter was cold
But when I went outside
The sight certainly showed
This was the best place
To be during winter, by far
And the good times I had
Will forever be in my heart
When we die
When we die
When we die where do we go?
Do we haunt the living, much like a ghost?
Do we not leave till we let go?
Is death quick, or is it slow?
Do we go to heaven, or do we go to hell?
Or do we spend eternity in our universe, but parallel
Do we live again, and get another turn?
Do we finish undone business once we are reborn?
Does God have mercy?
Or is he vengeful?
Yes, the act of death is truly eventful
Or maybe it’s not and we spend eternity at peace
And Maybe then we are finally free
The burden off of our shoulders and our shackles released
And that the beauty of death is in its simplicity
Yes the subject of death is truly a mystery
Isolation
The curtains gradually closed
And it got darker everyday
When they announced that we would be in quarantine
Quarantine is a translation to loneliness
I was a cloud separating from the sun
And the sky
Was gray
It was just more time
To overthink everything
The rain in the clouds got heavier and heavier
The isolation has made me
Laugh
Cry
And smile
All at the same time
Sometimes I can see the sun again
The sun takes me out of isolation
Wind and Sun
I step outside,
Feeling the cold wind slap my face.
Seconds later the sun warms the cold of my face
I feel the playful wind brush through my hair.
Though it is cold outside I can feel the sun’s powerful beams hit my skin,
It feels as if I have just crawled out of bed,
And into the cold world.
The wind surrounds me and lifts me higher than a bird,
I soar above the clouds,
And I feel like a fish out of water.
Slip Scape
The snow is gleaming and glowing with light and color
it breaks when I step in it so fine it’s like art
I see the snowman my brother made, almost falling down the slip side scape
His nose such a perfect orange point realizing I’m feeling my fright
I feel so alive and giddy when I see the winter skies
Knowing that when I slide down the mountain in front of me,
My body and mind will burst into butterflies
I faintly hear my cousin’s giggle as she gets ready to slide down with me
I’m so focused on how I’ll feel and how I’ll be scared
But I know that I will be fine and my cousin will comfort me through
So when it’s time, I’m ready as ever and slide down with a “Woo! Whoo!”
