Oak Tree

You look at your watch
thinking its too late
and sprint to the hospital
hoping for a clean slate

You walk into room 93
it seems you didn’t run fast enough

because what you see
is your grandfather has past
The monitor is flat

Now all thats left is only a seed
that will grow up to be
A strong and beautiful
Oak tree

my dog

My little tiny white dog when we
got he she looked like a rat,

My puppy was running,jumping,
peeing everywhere she is so energetic,

My puppy is now one she is softer than a pillow
She is so fluffy.

My puppy’s eyes are 2 clean diamonds staring at you,
She is fluffy as a soft blanket,

One time outside she was skittering in a bush and,
we thought she was a rat,

Her fur is like a bowl of milk, with 2 drops of energy
Drink because she is so energetic.

My dog just runs, gets dirty so we wash her, blow dry her fur
So she becomes so fluffy,

My dog is energetic,
so when we try to wash her she shakes, wiggles,

When my dog turns 2 my mom said “she will not call her a rat anymore”.

School

Most people hate,
But I Love
As much as they
Love breaks!

I like to read,and do
math , they like to sit on their
Phones all day long
When I sit and work they sit
And talk for hours and hours
You can hear the clock
Going Tick,Tock

School is my happy place
Where I study hard, and be with
My friends

Obscured

They say something evil lurks,
Deep in the woods.
Something with no soul or face.
Something I never understood.

So I left the town,
With its quiet little streets.
On the way to something
I still regret to meet.

“That forest contains something evil,”
My father had once said.
“It eats up your soul until
It’s full and you’re dead.”

The trees as tall as buildings.
Plants and flowers used by florists.
The broken branches of trees scattered.
That’s what I came across in the forest.

Deeper and deeper I went;
The sun fading and fading,
Until I came across something,
Underneath that tree’s shading.

Corpses rotting and decaying,
Nature had taken its places,
But as I looked carefully,
The bugs were only on their faces

I screamed and ran.
I cried and panicked.
I turned back to look
But the corpses had vanished.

I ran until my lungs,
They felt as if they would burst.
I carried on anyway,
For this trip had been a curse

In the distance, something big,
I could see,
Something that was out of place.
Something that didn’t welcome me.

A big house,
In the middle of the woods.
It was still something
I never understood.

The windows were boarded up,
Making crooked lines.
A small gate ran around the house,
Covered in vines.

It looks deserted,
I had thought.
Oh, I was so wrong,
For the house was not.

I walked up the porch
As the boards squawked and squeaked.
I had already felt the blisters
On my feet.

Knock once, knock twice,
My mother had told me.
And I did, terrified,
of what I would see.

A woman stepped out;
Her face covered in a mask.
A white one with no eye holes;
It had made me want to ask.

She welcomed me in
And told me to sit.
In this strange house,
I felt my stomach turn to a pit.

She sat down
With a tray of tea.
She said, “One for you
And one for me.”

Growing curious, I asked,
“Why do you wear that mask?”
She coughed – or choked.
(And if they don’t answer)

As I looked,
She didn’t even drink the tea
Or –
(Then take a look and see)

She coughed at the
Question I had asked.
Then she laughed
And took off the mask.

She had no face,
It was blank as can be.
No eyes, no mouth,
That’s what I could see.

My lungs stopped working.
My brain had cracked.
What was I seeing?
What was that?

As she – or it – stood up,
That’s when it hit me.
The windows had been boarded,
SInce there was nothing it could see.

The corpses, rotting,
Lying in the woods,
Had been a warning.
Now I understood.

There were more of them
With no mouths or eyes.
It was like a big family
As I let out cries.

I pulled open the door
To let myself be free.
A glint of sunlight
Hid behind an autumn tree.

I ran as fast as I could,
Without looking back.
The sun was setting and
Soon the sky would be black,

Both literally and figuratively,
I was out of the woods
On the edge, exactly,
Is where I stood.

I ran back to the town,
With its quiet little streets.
On the way from something,
I regretted to meet.

My father had been correct
Yet he was still wrong.
It hadn’t eaten up you soul –
But it was your face all along.

My Cat

My cat
is my everything,
my softest friend,
my cuddliest companion,
my buddy to no end.
the cat who is spoiled,
every night with a treat,
the best wake up call,
always there when it’s time to eat.
when you get home she’ll welcome you happily,

a sweet little greeting,
when you’ve had a long day,
you’ll not want to miss this marvelous meeting.
Her love is unmistakable, like a warm blanket,

That
We
Will
Always
Cherish
Forever

Snow

I looked out the window to find
A winter wonderland that shined
Tiny white specks falling from the sky
That shimmered in the light

The sight made me smile
So I watched the white glitter for a while
Like powdered sugar
Coating the surface in a soft white layer

I sink into the white landscape
making a deep shoe shape
In the lawn

Crunch, Crunch, Crunch
Under my feet as I walk
LIke smashing a million little dots

I wish this day would always stay
As I play in the icy specks all day
I will always remember
The Snow

Avery

My generation is Worthless, greedy and dumb
No one will ever say
We amounted to something
I know that
Everyone only wants what’s best for ourselves
Not
To help other people
We strive
To Buy things to just make us happy
We never try
To work hard and accomplish things
We love
To steal and lie to get what we want
People thought we couldn’t turn our lives around and that we loved nothing but
We knew it was a joke that
We are good people
It’s not hard to believe
We could end up in jail
It is impossible that
We cared
But what you didn’t know is that

Mr.Kagan the Uber

Mr. Kagan marched to his car,
Would his job take him far,
He is an Uber driver,
He is one of the best jivers,
The first person arrives at noon,
Mr. Kagan gets to her super soon,
He was in the military,
He has a pet named Gary,
Bobs his head to a song,
He was the best driver all along,

Gets a lot of cash,
He gets there in a dash,
The coolest driver ever,
He will ride forever,
Telling people off,
His driving is super soft!
He drops lines like it’s fire!
He is a driver for hire!
The day is finally at an end,
We have reached the final bend.
