The Weirdest Uber Ride Ever

I looked at my phone and saw
That the purple sparkly Minivan
My Uber driver was in
Had just arrived
I didn’t think much of it.

The car pulled up and I
Opened the door and saw
Dora The Explorer
“¡Hola! Soy Dora!” she said.
I was shocked
“Vámonos, let’s go!” she said.
I hate Dora,
Should I just get another driver,
whatever, I thought.
“Okay.” I said as I got in the car.

As she drove she
Turned on the radio and
Started playing Kidz Bop at
Max volume
She knew every word
To the songs
I was so annoyed. I could
Hardly stand the music.

FInally, we got to my house.
As I opened the door to get out
Confetti shot out from nowhere and
Started flying around the car.
“Hooray! We made it!” Dora said.
“Yay” I said annoyed.
I could hardly wait to get out.
But I still gave her a five star review.

Purple Man

“Who are you?”
“Why are you purple?”
“Why do you look like a dried plum?”
“Why are there stones on your hand?”
The insults roared through the field like a wind breeze
He tried to block it out
But he couldn’t
His anger boiled and boiled
Sooner than later it was about to turn 212 degrees Fahrenheit!
BOILING POINT!!!
“Go back to where you belong!”
“The Purple Man” took the football
“Set Hut”
He snapped his fingers
and everything went quiet

Sakura Leaves

I hear the leaves rustling
I love listening to the soothing wind
I open my eyes and see the falling leaves.

The sakura tree has beautiful leaves
That are pink and bold leaves that keep rustling
Which fall as slowly as feathers and quiet like the wind.

With its dying breath the the light leaf gets lost in the wind
As the sun sets I look to the falling pink leaves
I leave the park as the sun grows old as I listen to the leaves rustling.

The sakura leaves are still rustling in the wind past present and future forever.

Chicken Nuggets

After taking out the nuggets
They are nice and warm
So golden and hot to the touch
I put my ear next to them and can hear the sizzles
Of the Nuggets
Yum yum

I can feel the
S
T
E
A
M
Coming from the nuggets
As I bite into them
The taste of crispy, tender Chicken Nuggets
Fill my mouth

“MMMMMMMMM” I say
The yummy taste of nuggets
Goes down to my belly
As I eat the rest.

Trees

the cool gentle breeze of the Wind
waltzed through the Leaves in the Trees
as Clouds swam across the sky

darker than black was the sky
the HOWLING Wind
YANKED! at leaves in the trees

barren of Leaves the trees
looked to the Cloud free sky
then to the non-existent Wind

one day the Clouds in the sky,
the gentle Wind, and the green Leaves
would come back to the trees.

Lone Flame

After it happened, I had to give everything to calamity
I was so close to what I wanted for myself, but I lost.
I walk up to what used to be a city, it’s a flame.

After Calamity arose, there’s only ash, only flame
I remember what happened perfectly, the day of calamity.
That day I was in my house, I couldn’t get out, I was lost.

I was trying to find my way out, but I was l o s t…
BOOM I was struck by a cascade of ash, the flame
Took Over me. Nothing I did helped to stop calamity.

The day calamity fell I was only five, The flame took everything I cared about. I was l o s t.

Nature Explained

The Sun is as bright as fire next to your face,
except for the fact that it’s in space.
When you’re in the fog you feel lost,
it feels humid, and like frost.

Rocks resemble a dog sleeping,
they don’t move and if I was a rock I’d be weeping.
A tree trunk resemble legs,
it holds everything up just like pegs.

The sky resembles beauty,
any other color besides blue is fruity.
The grass resembles fashion,
without it, we would be lacken.

動物

Animals are not our property
Animals are peaceful and calm
Like stars in the night
If you do not hurt them, they won’t bite
They range from big to small
From kangaroos, lions, and pigs
But I don’t know all the ones that like to dig
I did not know all the animal sounds
But I did know that some of them pounced
I knew about the woofs and the roars
But I did not know about the ones that make the rain pour
I have talked a lot about my animal knowledge
Now let’s talk about yours

The Principle

The time I got called to the Principle
I swear my body shrank
I wanted to just disappear
There was no one in the world
that I would rather not meet
When I went into his office
I was really quite surprised
I didn’t know if he even had eyes
They were the shape of circles and are like
A Bottomless pit
He pulled a chair from behind me
With only the lift of a hand
He introduced him as
Dr. Skywalker
And I almost lost my mind
I rubbed my eyes and look at his sign
And there it was in bold dark letters
ANIKAN SKYWALKER.

Time

“Tic-toc”

“Ding ding ding”
Time goes by
The roaring clock
Strikes 3 am
Then 3 months
Then 3 years

still in the same room
The same bed
The same tv

But today is different
A letter
In the mail
Labeled important

Its from the place down the street
From Harvard University

“click”
the door opens
Then a roar of applause
From the ones i love
