To Look Within

A girl who wanted to find her inner purpose
Asked her father
What is does it mean to look within myself?
And how will I find truth and guidance?
Listen my child, says the father
If you want to know your true value,
Let it go
Let go of the life where you were chasing a mirage
Let go of everything you think you are
Let go of your old self
And replace it with your new one
Let your new life help you become
of what you were meant to be
Listen to the inner voice
Relay on your own guidance
Follow your heart
This, the father says, is how you’ll look within yourself

A tasty magical world

A tasty magical world
Where the mountains are curled
To look like ice-cream
It may feel like a dream
But what’s a tasty magical world without tasty treats?
Have you seen the streets?
They’re made of licorice!
But try not to be lickerish
And share some with others
There are no trees, just lollipops that vary in colors
The clouds are made of cotton candy
And the ground is made of taffy
The buildings are made of thick gingerbread
And the flowers are made of gum that looks cherry red
Oh, what a tasty magical world!

Who am I?

Who am I?
I am a girl with a dream,
a dream to achieve.
A girl who always beams,
because she always believes.
Who am I?
I am a girl with a big heart,
a heart full of love.
A girl whose kindness never departs,
because she is as sweet as a dove.
Who am I?
I am a girl with creativity,
creativity with my imagination.
A girl who shows no negativity,
just the spark of creation.

The nervous rabbit

The nervous rabbit
has a little habit
where he checks his pocket watch,
pulls out his butterscotch,
nibbles it worriedly,
and wonders if he needs therapy
He goes to his doctor for advice
and in return gets a breathing device
But sadly, it didn’t help him,
which made him feel very grim
So, he decides to drink some chamomile tea
And then finally he was free
From his nervous strain
and it had helped his brain

Don’t give up

Hope is the feeling that comes when you know you can do it
If you work hard to follow your dreams, then you have grit
Don’t give up
Choose a goal you want to start-up
Follow and achieve that goal
As you do it, follow your role
Your role to help others to not fail
Make not only your confidence but other’s confidence unveil

Be brave

It’s hard to be brave
Of things you fear
Like darkness in a cave
And the strange sounds you’d hear
Like the face of a crazy clown
And it’s laughter
Like being alone in a spooky ghost town
And knowing it’s you a ghost is going after
Like fearing drowning or heights
Or losing something you love
You will get nightmares during nights
But it is the fear you must get rid of
It takes time
To face your nightmares
But soon you’ll forget about it anytime
And as you face it, your eyes won’t be filled with tears
It will be filled with confidence
Because you know that you can fight

Fairytale land

Fairytale land
Where the stories from books come true
It is an island
That is like a zoo
With witches, leprechauns, and fairies
With talking animals, princesses, and more
Everyone on the island is quite merry
And there is never the feeling of bore
But be careful of the potions you take
They might be poison like Snow White’s apple
Be wise of the choices you make
Or you’ll end up in a mess like the evil witch for example

Blood and Bones, Sticks and Stones

My heart is wrought of iron
My mind is cased in steel
My bones are made of diamond
wrapped from head to heel

My skin is strung of turquoise
My hair is forged of gold
My eyes are raging fires
Secrets they must hold

My lungs are hollowed topaz
My blood runs liquid silver
My muscles burn with bronze
A flexing copper river

My lips shine like clear glass
My teeth are opal daggers
My nails are dipped in emerald
And sharper than the latter

My tears slip like sapphires
My screams scrape red like rust
My lashes glint with onyx
Dark and without trust

My armour made of metal
My shell, cast and sealed
Has covered me for so long
I’ve forgotten how to feel

Yet there is only one thing
That can crack this shield of mine
Love can rust the toughest metals
If you just take the time.

The Good, Bad Dog

He barks one thousand times a day.
he scratches the door
and rips up the toys
he is filthy as a hog
and his soft black fur
blows in the wind like a flower in the spring
he screams and yells all day long
licks and licks when we arrive
good bad dog
relaxing with my brother, none else
likes and does not hate
Good
at times bad almost never
does bad things but he is good
his attitude is unpredictable
but we still love him

Christmas

Many presents lie still against the tree,
The tree so many kids dream about,
And the single star and many ornaments
It’s a time to be happy,
A time to complain how you can’t wait,
A time to bribe your siblings so they tell you what you’re getting,
And wait was that a BARK

You climb your way through December,
Build up excitement and tension,
And then it happens… quickly, too quickly.
And then you get off the ride and the line is a m i l l i o n miles long.
