Pages

Pages filled with stories.
New worlds beyond the land.
I stuff words into my pockets.
As they turn to sentences, sentences to books.
A million wishes in pages.
I promise to not stop.
Some days the words spill out
and then go quiet on others.
Pages in my brain.
Overflow like rain.
Wonder if they will be seen.
An empire under my eyes.
Ideas I spread like jam.
Always end up unread.
The words behind my eyes, a world I only see.
I have traveled to the moon and back
I have become a bird!
All still in my room
With piles of pages, ready to be heard.
