fill the emptiness
of silence
with noise,
a symphony of
drivers,
pushing their way
through a sea
of cars,
voices
talking,
sharing hopes
and dreams,
protesters,
fighting for their rights,
their lives,
hoping to make
a difference,
for their voices
to be heard.
Oceans
make sounds
of a lively
ecosystem,
waves
roll in,
bringing life
to an empty shoreline,
whales
call out,
singing their
sweet songs,
boats
blow their horns,
letting the people
find serenity.
Schools
sound of children,
teenagers,
adults,
building a future,
learning what it takes
to live in
this reality,
passing wisdom down
from generation
to generation.
